Very Light Cycling tours in France

The very light cycling tours of La Ligne Verte are meant for holidaymakers who first of all want plenty of time to visit all the interesting places and time to stop on the way for a pause, time for taking pictures
. Daily distances will not exceed 40 kmand cycling time will be no more than 4 hours a day.
These tours are also well suited for families with small children, with enough opportunities to stop for a swim in a river or lake or have a canoe trip.

Level 1 and 2 ( out of 7): flat and rolling with some small short and light climbs.

Days: every night an other hotel; you can book extra nights in any hotel.


Light Cycling holidays in France

These cycling tours of La Ligne Verte are meant for holidaymakers who first of all want to have enough time to visit all the interesting places and have time to stop on the way for a pause, time for drawing
. Daily distances will not exceed 60 kmand cycling time will be no more than 4 to 5 hours a day.
These tours are also well suited for families with children, with enough opportunities to stop for a swim in a river or lake or have a canoe trip.

Level 1 and 2 (occasionally 3) out of 7: mostly flat and rolling with some small short climbs.

Days: every night an other hotel; you can book extra nights in any hotel.


Moderate Cycling Holidays in France

For all holiday-makers in sufficiently good physical condition to bike 5 to 6 hours a day. These holiday tours are meant for the 35 to 65 years old who particularly like biking in a beautiful natural environment with a hillier profile and some longer ascents and descents in middle range mountains.
Families with sports loving children aged 15 and more can make this tours. There will be enough time left for rest, lunch, sightseeing or for taking a break beside a river or a lake and going for a swim.
These tours are more challenging. Some longish climbs between 350 m and 750 meters. Itinerary between 350 and 1000 meters altitude.

Daily distances will not exceed 70 km. Levels 2 and 3; occasionally 4 (out of 7).

Challenging Cycling Tours in France

For all holidays makers in excellent physical condition, regularly training to be able to bike up to 7 hours a day.
These tours are meant for the 20 to 60 years old for whom cycling is the primary aim of their vacation, whilst being able to enjoy the beauty of this country with its Breathtaking views.
Lots of longer ascents and descents in middle range mountains. Several climbs a day of more than 300m and sometimes more than 600m should be no problem for them.

Daily distances of 60 to 90 km a day. More longish climbs (5 - 9km, up to 500m elevation gain). Itineraries between 350 and 1000 meters altitude except for the Mont Ventoux and the Mont Aigoual "hors catégorie".
