This huge mountain hides splendid places. Provencal villages as well as beautiful nature. You will be in Roman Vaison-la-Romaine (60,000 Romans lived there 2000 years ago. Vaison has a medieval city and a famous market on Tuesday morning. You be cycling through the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages-vineyards all along your trip West of the Mont Ventoux. You'll visit Abbaye de Senanque and Gordes. On last day you will see the famous resurging river at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse
where Petrarca wrote his poems.

Train & Bus From Marseille Airport to Luberon and Avignon in Provence
  • From the airport of Marseille you take the shuttle bus to SNCF railway station of Vitrolles.
    Bus leaves every 20 minutes and it takes 5 minutes to arrive.
  • Here take a train ticket to Avignon.
    On all days of the week you'll have 4 opportunities between 12:00 and 20:00 to go to Avignon
