GENERAL CONDITIONS

All cycling tours are supported by luggage transport.
All trips are self-guided; meant for independent cyclists, but assistance will be given on the spot when in trouble or when needed.
Supplements for singles kept very low (supllements due to the extra costs of luggage transport and of single rooms).
A la Carte: all standard trips can be lengthened or shortened by one or more days.
'Number of days'equals number of nights plus day of leaving. (8-days means: first dinner on day 1; 7 nights and last breakfast on day 8; days 1 to 7 are effective cycling days)
Meals. All breakfasts are included. Number of dinners included varies. In larger cities sometimes only BnB-hotels. Lunches and in-hotel beverages are generally not included.
Maps (1:150.000) and written instructions (route directions) included.
Assistance will be given on the spot when in trouble or when needed. All trips are self-guided; meant for independent cyclist. Folder with all maps, instructions, brochures at your first hotel.
Travel costs to your first hotel are not included.

A folder with maps (1:175 000), brochures and written instructions will be waiting for you at your first hotel.

All prices in EURO per person.
Supplements for singles (extra costs of luggage transfer and of one-person rooms kept at low levels).
attractive discounts from 5% p.p. for groups of 3 personen up to 28% for groups of 8 personen.
Basic rates are per person, two people travelling together, sharing room (double occupancy) and sharing costs of luggage transfer.

- Standard : ** and *** hotels

Payment

Bike rental
La Ligne Verte does not rent bikes itself, but like the reservation and booking of the hotel accomodations and the organization of bags transfers, La Ligne Verte will also take the necessary steps to hire your bikes for you and in your name at the local bike-stores. You will have your bike either at your hotel, or at a bike store near the hotel to make the necessary adjustments to the bike (saddle, height etc.).

Your credit card will be our surety for you returning the bike in good condition.
Bikes are tested and adjusted prior to renting by the local bike store, but you will have the whole liability for what happens with and to the bike. La Ligne Verte does not admit any liability for accidents with, or caused by, the rented bikes whatsoever. See our Terms and Conditions
Road bikes are hybrid style with 3x7 gears, equipped with one saddlebag, water bottle, lock, and a repair kit.

Levels of cycling tours:

Level of difficulty expressed in length (km) and grades (1-8).
Most of the stages of the tours in the Grands Causses should be classed grade 3, exceptionally 5, some level 2 or 4.
Untrained cyclists can manage level 3 tours.
Moderately well trained cyclists can manage level 4 and 5.

level 1	easy, low-level cycling with few ascents/descents with maximum 100m difference in hilly or flat landscape
level 2	generally easy cycling with some ascents/descents with maximum 200m difference in hillier landscapes
level 3	moderate cycling, with some ascents and descents up to 300m difference of altitude in low mountains
level 4	Low mountain with frequent ascents and descents up to 300m difference of altitude in mountains up to 800m
level 5	Middle range mountains/plateaux (up to 1000m), with some harder and longer ascents and descents
level 6	High mountains (more than 1000m altitude); very well trained amateurs
level 7	High mountains, lots of climbing, Very Challenging
level 8	High mountains, difficult, "Tour de France" professional level.
