The walk takes parts of some PR's (Petite Randonnées), the GR46, the GR652 and the GR6.

Souillac -Meyronne	Along the Dordogne you walk to St. Sozy" par la falaise" under theoverhanging cliffs. You pass a prehistoric shelter/cave	16 km
Meyronnel - Carennac	Going up the Causse de Quercy alongside the Dordogne River. In Carennac: Renaissance houses with sculpted windows and brown roofs are clustered around a Cluniac priory where French writer and prelate Fenelon once lived. Near the Romanesque church and its cloister, the Château des Doyens invites you to discover the treasures of this Pays d'Art et d'Histoire-labelled region to which Carennac belongs. The nearest airport from UK to these walking tours is Brive (Ryanair) and Toulouse airport (Blagnac) from other countries.
Train Toulouse-Souillac direct connection of almost 2 hours.
From North America best is to fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle or to Toulouse Blagnac and take train at Gare d'Austerlitz (bikes allowed) to Souillac.

Change at Gare du Nord M5 (Metro line 5) leaves every 5 minutes to Gare d'Austerlitz
